1 Working principle and function
Soil respiration is measured based on the phenomenon of plant photosynthesis absorbing carbon dioxide, using the commonly used "gas exchange method" principle in the world. It is used in conjunction with various models of photosynthesis instruments from our company in a closed-loop system. The volume of this group's leaf chamber is 5 liters and the cross-sectional area is 208cm2.
2. Structural composition
The soil respiration chamber is mainly composed of five parts: soil respiration bucket, external battery, plug, external battery power lead, and charger. Dimensions: The outer diameter is 168mm, the outer height is 254mm, and the barrel wall is made of stainless steel material.
3use
Place it on the soil to be monitored (note: the open side faces downwards), gently twist the soil breathing chamber cylinder to ensure it is inserted into the soil surface and sealed. When calculating the volume, subtract the soil volume inside the bucket from the overall volume.
